The day after Christmas as many of the family that can make it trek to Santa Rosa and my sister-in-law's for a second gift exchange and Christmas dinner with her and my nephew. It's a little quieter and calmer there - we're probably all too tuckered out to carry on. Last evening coming home we got caught up in the worst traffic ever on hwy 80 - bumper to bumper and a crawl from below Vallejo to beyond Fairfield - took us nearly an extra hour to get home.

Leftovers this year are plentiful - lots of clutie dumpling and even some bacon (a first) as was the leftover fudge. Have even my kids reached the point where they are watching their diets, too?
