And here we are ten years later - and George R.R.Martin is world famous now. I met him briefly once at a SciFi convention - don't remember where. He had no gray in his beard then. When I told him how "Armageddon Rag" had given me a new perspective on those times, he was not terribly gratified or impressed. I left him alone with his thoughts.

j b, you have dug up some good past discussions. I've enjoyed re-reading them all, mostly reading words from so many other memorable contributors. Yes, Will is gone - and still missed. I wonder who that Washington cheerleader was. And when was it that Washington finally allowed girls to be 'Yell Leaders'? Where have so many of the others gone.? Can't have nothing more to say, really?
