Harry Aleo, a realtor on 24th Street in Noe Valley for close to fifty years, lent us a signboard and photo of this house when he was trying to unload it about 1970:

What made us laugh was the "4" was stapled over a previous number---they had to drop the price!

Our readers of an older generation doubtlessly are shaking their heads that this property would go for half a million dollars today.
